Apprenticeship Provider EMA Training Limited Leicester Hub Launch

Derby-based apprenticeship provider EMA Training Ltd is set to open the doors to its Leicester Hub on July 1, welcoming students and business partnerships from across the county.

EMA Training, which recently celebrated its 10-year anniversary, was founded in 2013 by Managing Director, Tracey Mosley. Since then, EMA has built a highly respected brand in the East Midlands and has become renowned for its high quality approach to providing students with apprenticeship training in finance, marketing and data technology.

Gemma Orton, also well known for her work within Leicestershire’s business and charity community, joins the team as Regional Director for the Leicester Hub. Gemma comments,

“I think there is a huge gap in Leicestershire in terms of providing high quality apprenticeship training but also, very importantly, for businesses to work with a local apprenticeship provider who really cares about supporting them in developing the next generation of our business community. .”

Tracey and I met when we were 16 – we both started our apprenticeship journeys at the time – and I am a great ambassador for apprenticeships and the opportunities that can come from this chapter for both students and businesses. I am so excited to be working with Tracey. Our vision and values have always been so well aligned and I think that can only mean really positive and exciting things for the future.”

This ambitious step results in EMA Training becoming the only face-to-face classroom training provider in the city for its finance apprenticeships. The team at EMA have always been passionate about this hybrid approach to their apprenticeship offerings. A typical week for an EMA student is 4 days a week ‘on business’ with the employer, gaining direct life experience and one day a week at a refreshingly designed EMA training centre. This allows learners to benefit from collaborating with other learners, sharing their experiences, meeting industry experts and generally enjoying the modern and wonderful space that each Hub has to offer.

Tracey Mosley, Managing Director, comments,

“We have been frequently approached over the years by businesses, parents and school leavers to bring our brand to Leicester. Time is of the essence and we needed to ensure we had a regional director capable of leading this initiative successfully and I believe Gemma Orton is that person. With her established connections in Leicester, ambition and proven track record, she is ideal for our future plans. which excites not only me, but also the whole EMA team.”

The new Leicester Hub is perfectly located opposite the train station in the Regus St George’s House building and just 15 minutes’ walk from the bus station.
