Woman in her 20s stabbed in Wembley

A 20-year-old woman was rushed to hospital after being stabbed in Wembley.

The incident happened at around 6.30am on Friday, June 14, after reports that a woman had been attacked on Sylvia Gardens, just off Harrow Road, came to the Met Police.

A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 6.45am on Friday 14 June to reports of a stabbing in Sylvia Gardens, Wembley.

“We sent resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer. We also sent a trauma team from the London Air Ambulance which consisted of a doctor and a paramedic in a car.

“We treated one patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma center.”

A Met Police spokesman said in a statement: “Police were called at 06:38 on Friday 14 June to reports of an assault on a person in Sylvia Gardens, Wembley. Officers attended with the London Ambulance Service and found a woman in her 20s with stab wounds. She was taken to a nearby hospital.

“Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CR – 01/469245/24.”
