Emmerdale fans are making scary predictions about what Tom will do to Belle next

Emmerdale viewers were left ‘fearing’ for Belle Dingle’s safety as she got closer to learning the truth about husband Tom King’s behaviour.

As ITV viewers will know, Tom has controlled Belle since they met, but she has stood by him through it all. After getting married, Tom made efforts to have children, but Belle felt that she was not ready to become a mother.

During an episode of the show last week, Belle felt forced to reveal that she was pregnant because abusive husband Tom was going to physically hit her.

While Tom was overjoyed at the news and overjoyed at the thought of becoming a father, Belle continued to have doubts about continuing the pregnancy.

In tonight’s episode, Belle spoke to a nurse at the abortion center and shared her concerns about leaving the crisis assessment center too soon. She explained that she was “not ready to handle the stress of a child.”

As the nurse gave her more time to think about her decision, Belle said, “I don’t feel strong enough to be a mother right now. It’s the right decision for me, I want a termination.”

Belle told the nurse that “the sooner she can get the appointment, the better.” When the call ended, Belle tried to book a taxi to take her to the meeting. She was told it would cost her £30 – but when she checked her and Tom’s joint bank account, she realized she didn’t have enough money to cover the cost.

Belle was stopped in her tracks when Tom came home. Continuing to hide the truth from Tom, the two had dinner together and even had their picture taken, with Tom assuring her that they would “be the best parents”.

When Tom got into the shower, Belle took the opportunity to go to Tom’s phone to try to transfer enough money to cover the cost of the taxi. While on the phone, she discovered that Tom was monitoring her location through a tracking app.

Viewers took to social media to say they were left ‘fearing’ for Belle’s safety as they predicted he would ‘beat’ her and said they were ‘scared’ of how he would react when he found out about abortion.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, @teenamassam wrote: “Belle needs to be careful, this could all be on camera… #emmerdale.”

@kellycrumpton94 said: “So Belle is going to have an abortion and then realize she miscarried? I’m scared for her that Tom will beat her and say it’s her fault #emmerdale.”
