Live: The A30 has been closed in Cornwall due to overdue roadworks

The A30 remains closed in Cornwall due to overdue roadworks. The main A is closed in both directions this morning (June 19) after being closed overnight as part of the A30 improvement scheme.


National Highways says the road will close from 8pm to 6am between June 18 and 20 between Chiverton and Summercourt, with diversion routes in place. The A30 will also be closed this weekend from 8pm on Friday 21 June until 6am on Monday 24 June.



National Highways said: “The #A30 in #Cornwall remains closed in both directions between #A3058 #Summercourt and #A390 #ThreeBurrows due to overdue roadworks. The shutdown is expected to be lifted within the next hour. Please allow extra time for your journey.”

Road closed in both directions

A30 closed in both directions, delays due to roadworks overrun from Chiverton Cross (Three Burrows) to Summercourt Central / Newquay Turn Off (Summercourt).
