Schools partnership wins prestigious national teaching award

Ealing Learning Partnership, which brings together the council and 85 schools in the borough in the delivery of educational excellence, has been recognized with a silver award for impact through partnership in the Pearson National Teaching Awards.

Selected from thousands of nominees, the win highlights the remarkable impact the partnership has on shaping the lives of the young people in their care.

This collaboration brings together school and district council staff in their mission to promote educational excellence, tackle inequalities and deliver better outcomes for all children and young people in pursuit of its vision: No Student Left Behind: No School Left Behind. More than 40 school leaders contribute their time to shape and deliver activities on behalf of all young learners in the district, area-wide priorities and school needs.

The Pearson Silver Award recognizes Ealing Learning Partnership as one of the leaders of educational excellence in the UK.

Conviction and dedication

Ealing Learning Partnership is one of 102 deserving teachers, lecturers, leaders, support staff and institutions named as silver winners in this year’s awards. They will now be in the running for the coveted Gold Award, which will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony later in the year.

The announcement comes as celebrities, students and schools across the UK today pay tribute to all those who work in education to mark National Teacher Appreciation Day, which celebrates the whole education community and shines a light on the exceptional impact they have on shaping young people. lives.
