The 21-year-old has been on the run for almost a week. It follows the death of Keaton Slater, who died after being hit by a BMW on Radford Road at around 4.30pm on Friday (June 14).

Speaking at a press conference earlier today, Sergeant Rich Evans explained: “We are looking at all information and intelligence coming in from the Coventry area and across the UK. He added that as well as wanting to catch Aleksanders, he issued a warning to anyone who might help him hide. He confirmed that a 56-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and warned that more would be done.

“We don’t want anyone harboring this person, we need to talk to them, we need to find out what’s going on, we need to get justice for this (Keaton Slater’s) family.”
