Arne Slot set to move into Jürgen Klopp’s $5m home as Liverpool confirmation looms

Arne Slot is ready to take on more than just Jurgen Klopp’s managerial role at Liverpool as he also moves in $5m (£4m/).EUR 4.6 million) Formby Manor.

Removal vans have been spotted outside Klopp’s seven-bedroom Merseyside property, indicating a changing of the guard both on and off the pitch. The luxury home, with three lounges, a home cinema, indoor pool and landscaped garden, has a rich history with Liverpool, having previously been owned by Brendan Rodgers and Steven Gerrard.

Slot, who currently manages Feyenoord, is expected to replace Klopp from the start of next season, with only formalities and an official announcement pending.

The Dutch manager has expressed his intention to link up with Klopp once he takes the reins at Anfield. “It’s normal if you go to a new club to contact the coach. I did that at Feyenoord too,” he shared.

“All the knowledge a person has from working at the club for a few years, or nine in this case.”

Klopp, who became a beloved figure in Formby during his successful spell with Liverpool, plans to spend time in Mallorca, where he owns a $4.3m (£3.4m/€4m ) in Santa Ponsa.
