New community event in Ealing to mark Armed Forces Day – EALING.NEWS – Ealing Voice 7 Cities

Ealing Council will mark Armed Forces Day with a new community event in the borough, taking place in Ealing Green on 29 June 2024.

In a statement, the council said it was the first time such an event had taken place and would “showcase the work of the armed forces and thank them for their contribution to the district”.

The event will begin at 12.30pm with the raising of the Armed Forces Day flag and include certificate presentations by Deputy Lieutenant Richard Kornicki. St Benedict’s School Combined Cadet Force will be giving a drumming performance.

Local cadet groups will have stands on the Green, located in front of Pitzhanger Manor, where they will demonstrate their skills and invite members of the public to have a go.
