In the latest episode of BBC Radio Leeds’ Don’t Go To Bed Just Yet podcast, the panel talked about in-demand Leeds winger Crysencio Summerville and whether he will become a top Premier League player in the future.

Reporter Adam Pope said: “He has all the talent and we often see the hard work. I accept that there have been some injuries this season or he has had to manage muscle conditions, but hard work is not just about running, it is about being mentally prepared and totally focused on it.

“For someone like him, the world is his oyster if he combines it all and commits himself completely to it, because he could be a prodigious talent. He’s only 22 years old.”

The Dutch winger has been linked with moves to a number of top clubs this summer and Pope added: “He was probably the first name and had been for a while the one who, if Leeds didn’t go up, was probably the most important. would work

“He’s had experience in the Premier League, last year he got 21 goals in all competitions and double figures for assists. He’s clearly better than the Championship and there’s definitely a future in the Premier League for him. I wonder how far he can go go?”

Presenter Jonny Buchan said: “I’m not convinced he’s in the top Premier League. Is he in the Premier League? Probably, but I think as it stands right now, mid to low end.

“I’m not just saying that in hindsight, because he leaves and you do the whole ‘suck him when he leaves.’ There were a lot of games where, for me, he left a lot out there and you thought ‘you could have done more today’ It makes me wonder if he is that top player in the Premier League.

Kaiser Chiefs bassist Simon Rix concluded: “I’m with Jonny in that I’d be surprised if a Premier League team doesn’t come for him, but I don’t think he’s top class either, at least at the moment. .”
