‘Concerned for welfare’ 999 call regarding missing man last seen in Bearwood

Officers from West Midlands Police have released a photograph of a missing man, named as Nigel.

The force said the 73-year-old was last seen on Bearwood High Street in Smethwick at around 2.30pm yesterday (June 19).

A WMP spokesman said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.”

Nigel is from Selly Oak in Birmingham – and may be trying to travel back there, officers explained.

He is described as being 5ft 4in tall with short gray hair. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket, dark gray jeans and gray trainers. If you can help, call 999 quoting log 3914 of June 19.
