A Manchester dad and two others complete their 500-mile walk in Norwich today to raise awareness of suicide prevention

Mike Palmer started this journey in Stirling, Scotland 24 days ago in memory of his daughter Beth who took her own life aged just 17.

“He will be well supported along the way”

They’ve been raising funds for national charity Papyrus and tell us they visited the charity’s new offices along the way:

“To see more Papyrus hubs open in the UK means more suicide prevention work can be carried out where it is needed.

“It’s something that helps tackle a problem that is the biggest killer of our young people in the UK.

Mike went along with Andy Airey and Tim Owen who say it’s been an exciting few weeks.

What’s next?

All money raised from this challenge will go to national suicide prevention charity Papyrus.
