Victim services and peer support are available to officers, parents, teachers, children and first responders, he added.

Police are appealing for witnesses with dash cams and CCTV cameras in homes to contact them. A forensic identification team is at the scene gathering information.

“We’re still investigating,” Dickson said. “We are reviewing all potential outcomes of the events that led to this terrible outcome.”
