Everything we know about Cornwall’s Love Island bombshell Konnor Ewudzi

Two gorgeous bombshells have joined ITV’s Love Island and are set to cause potential friction amongst the group. Fearless duo Konnor Ewudzi and Matilda-June Draper entered the Spanish Villa last night, Wednesday, June 19.

Looking for romance is 28-year-old Konnor. The Cornwall native, who has been single for a year and a half, is a hairdresser and rugby player. Before changing his Instagram bio to “I’m off to find love in the @loveisland villa”, his Instagram read: “Cuts hair and chats jibber-jabber”, showing a glimpse of his charming personality.

But that’s not all for the dazzling Cornish man. Konnor works as a model, his social networks act as a portfolio for his talent and beauty, with posts from various photo shoots.

As he stepped into the villa, Konnor introduced himself saying, “Ready to find the love of my life, I’m not afraid to break up any couples. We’re all here for one reason, and we’re here to find love.”

He continued: “I’m a rugby boy. When I go out I get a lot of attention and that won’t change at the villa.” Konnor is seeing a surge in popularity from the public as he had around 3,200 followers before his debut but now boasts over 5,400 followers in a single night.

The two bombshells were tasked with choosing three people to cook them an appetizer, a main course and a dessert, Konnor chose Grace, who is currently engaged to reality star veteran Joey Essex, for starters, Nicole for main meal and Mimi for dessert.

All three girls seem delighted with their current partners, but can the Cornish dreamboat sway their minds? Bombshell Matilda seems to be taking a safer approach and chose available islanders Omar, Sean and Will.

According to the Sun, Love Island is not Matilda’s first taste of fame. In March 2024, it was revealed that she has a celebrity crush as Strictly star Bobby Brazier was seen liking her photos on Instagram.

In other news, islander Ronnie Vint and Matilda apparently already know each other. Ronnie looked down to see Matilda calling her name, but continued to say, “I don’t know her, no, I don’t know her.” Matilda seemed to indicate that they had met before and then Ronnie could be heard muttering, “Oh my God, I know her. My friend had been seeing her for months.”

Viewers arrived at X, where they couldn’t believe that Ronnie knew the new girl, given that Grace is Joey Essex’s ex. One said: “Are the producers purposely choosing people Ronnie has met to enter the villa? What’s up with the ex on the beach #loveisland”.

Another fan added: “So now production has dropped a bombshell that has links to Ronnie?! It’s getting way too performative… it’s bad enough we have to deal with Joey and his shenanigans! #loveisland.”
