Motorists have been urged to avoid Glasgow’s busy road following the three-vehicle crash

Police have urged motorists to avoid a busy Glasgow road following a three-vehicle crash.

The incident happened today, June 12, at around 3.15pm on Balmore Road. Officers rushed to the scene and closed the road between the Allandertoll roundabout and Balmuildy Road.

Emergency services remain at the scene and motorists are asked to avoid the area during this time.

It is not yet known if they were injured.

Posting a traffic warning on Facebook, Police Scotland said: “Balmore Road is currently closed between Allandertoll Roundabout and Balmuildy Road following a three-vehicle crash which occurred at around 3.15pm on Wednesday 12 June.

“Emergency services remain at the scene and motorists are advised to avoid the area at this time.”
