The moment drug dealer tries to give up the hideout after hiding it in his pants

This is the moment a County Lines dealer was caught on camera trying to dump his stash in a petrol bin after hiding the drugs – in his trousers. Jaxon Hardwick, 23, and Charlie Scurr, 21, were captured on CCTV trying to dispose of the packages after police stopped their car in Nottinghamshire.

One of them can be seen putting his hands down his panties before throwing the Class A drugs into a bin, while their friend Ellis Johnson, 20, was detained by police. The three were arrested along with a fourth occupant of the car, Alan Reynolds, 44, following a routine stop of the car on the A46 on June 2, 2022.

Detectives launched an investigation which led to the break-up of a County Lines drug gang selling heroin and cocaine in Lincolnshire and Leicestershire. Officers discovered drugs were being sold in bulk through a mobile phone line and vulnerable people and children as young as 13 were being exploited to act as ‘runners’.

Analysis of the cellphones seized from Hardwick, Johnson, Scurr and Reynolds found they were working in unison as part of the operation. Another man, Keanan Frazer, 23, was identified as a key contact of Scurr’s and in regular contact with other gang members.

A raid on his home in February last year uncovered a stash of cryptocurrencies, drug-trafficking equipment, knives, an extendable cane, designer clothing and wads of cash. Analysis of his phone showed he had recruited children to transport drugs.

A new breakthrough was made when officers in Melton were called to reports of a missing teenager. The boy was seen by a member of the public in a supermarket with a local drug user, Tom Woodworth.

Officers visited the home of 38-year-old Woodworth and the boy was found locked in the property. When the police analyzed the boy’s cell phone they found messages received from the drug gang.
