• What the: Red Mountain Theater serves up a spoonful of sugar in this beloved musical featuring everyone’s favorite nanny, Mary Poppins.

3. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the musical @ Virginia Samford Theatre

• What the: Get your tickets and go to this huge hit musical in London. Directed by theater artist Virginia Samford in Residence Henry Scott, this musical adaptation of the classic film features a magical machine and lots of singing + dancing.

5. Strawberry Full Moon Paddle @ Oak Mountain State Park

• What the: Watch the full moon rise over the mountain from the lake in Oak Mountain State Park. The port will stay open late so you can charter a boat.
