One of England’s most stunning beaches has drawn comparisons to the idyllic shores of Bali, Indonesia.

When the British weather is on our side and doesn’t drench us in rain, it becomes apparent that the UK is home to some truly beautiful coastal spots. All over the country, there are enchanting beaches with crystal clear waters and perfect waves that attract millions of visitors every year.

Many Brits often overlook the splendor to be found in their own nation, choosing instead to head to Spain for a dose of safe sunshine and sandy beaches. However, at the right time, you could enjoy the same natural beauty without ever leaving the country.

Popular UK TikTok account Hidden Gems recently heaped praise on Cornwall’s Pedn Vounder, calling it a ‘coastal gem’. “It enchants visitors with its natural beauty and secluded charm,” said travel enthusiasts.

Located near the picturesque village of Treen, this picturesque beach offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere that provides a welcome break from the hustle and bustle.

The comments section below the video was full of admiration for the beach as one user exclaimed: “We are lucky to have beaches like this around us.”

Another chimed in: “The most beautiful beach!” A third person was equally impressed, saying: “Wow, now that’s a beach.”

While many have pointed out that Pedn Vounder is not the only stunning beach in Cornwall, some have pointed to its popularity with ‘nudists’. Recalling the experience, one commentator noted, “We were the only ones wearing clothes.”

Located on the edge of the Penwith coast near Land’s End, this perfect beach is not the most accessible. You can park at Porthcurno for around £2 and set off on a 22-minute walk, which includes some steep steps and difficult terrain.

Don’t forget, you’ll also need to make your way back after a day at the beach (or cloud bathing).

Parking is limited and tends to fill up quickly, so it’s advisable to arrive early to avoid disappointment. The nearest train station is Penzance, from where you should take a 15 minute taxi ride to Porthcurno to start the mini hike.

However, even tickets from London to Penzance can be expensive, costing up to £300 for a single person.
