England fans pack Birmingham’s Luna Springs as pints fly

Hundreds of football fans packed Luna Springs into Digbeth tonight, June 20, as England take on Denmark. The city’s popular venue, which is a fan zone for Euro 2024, had an electric atmosphere on Thursday night as more than 300 fans gathered to watch the Three Lions in action – most with England flags proudly painted on their girls.

Victory for the Three Lions tonight would confirm them as Group C winners and see them continue their winning streak after beating Serbia 1-0 in the opening game of the tournament. There was an electric atmosphere after Harry Kane’s goal, with Brummie fans erupting in cheers and drinks flying in the air.

The Danes then equalized with England with a wonderful goal from Hjulmand, putting Gareth Southgate’s side under pressure. Jude Bellingham’s name could be heard being sung at the stadium in Frankfurt this evening.

The former Birmingham City man scored England’s first goal in the opening game and the whole region got behind him. A giant photo of Bellingham has appeared on the Bullring hours after the star scored England’s first goal in their Euro 2024 opener.

Football fever continued at Luna Springs into Thursday night as fans young and old came together to support England.
