Live: A4 Portway lane closed due to medical emergency near Clifton Suspension Bridge

A medical emergency is underway near the Clifton Suspension Bridge this evening (Thursday June 20). The details of the incident are not yet known, but we will bring you all the latest information in the blog below.

According to traffic monitoring website Inrix, one lane is closed southbound on the A4 Portway. The closure was first reported around 6.20pm and slow traffic is now developing in the area.

Inrix says: “Slow traffic and one lane closed due to a medical emergency on the A4 Portway Southbound before Clifton Suspension Bridge.”
