Rasmus Hojlund sends ten-word message to Manchester United team-mate following England draw

Denmark may have drawn against England, but star striker Rasmus Hojlund cheekily admitted he has a positive.

The Manchester United striker helped his side to a 1-1 draw against the Three Lions in their second Euro 2024 Group C match.

But while neither team will likely be too pleased with the result in Frankfurt, Hojlund was determined to put on the bright side.

The 21-year-old took to social media to send a specific message to one of his United teammates, Kobbie Mainoo.

While Mainoo made a substitute appearance for England during their opening 1-0 win over Serbia, the teenager did not feature against Denmark.

And Hojlund jokingly admitted that fact – as well as sharing the points – would make things a lot easier on their return to Manchester.

He took to Instagram to post: “At least it won’t get awkward with Kobbie next practice.”

Hojlund’s side have now picked up two points from their opening two games, also coming away with a disappointing 1-1 draw against Slovenia in their opener.

It hasn’t been a brilliant campaign for Gareth Southgate’s side either.

England have faced widespread criticism for their unconvincing performances so far, with the manager also criticized for his team selections.
