Ealing Learning Partnership receives prestigious award – EALING.NEWS – The Voice of Ealing 7 towns

A partnership between Ealing Council and the district’s schools has received an award for its performance and impact in helping young people.

The Ealing Learning Partnership (ELP), which runs between 85 schools in Ealing and the council, has won a silver award for impact through partnership in the Pearson National Teaching Awards.

Julie Lewis, Director of Learning Standards and School Partnerships at Ealing Council said: “The conviction of our schools and the dedication of individual leaders who contribute directly to the aims of the Ealing Learning Partnership and who believe in our mission has resulted in this. award.”.

Ms Lewis added: “This supportive network of brilliant educators doesn’t just care about the performance of their own school or the results of the students they teach; they care about all Ealing’s children and young people. I am delighted to have achieved this recognition”.

News of the award came on the occasion of National Teacher Appreciation Day earlier this week (June 19, 2024).

Sharon Hague, managing director of assessment and school qualifications at Pearson UK said: “We are delighted to recognize this year’s Silver Award winners for their outstanding achievements. The contributions they make and the impact they have on the lives of young people every day are truly exceptional. We are extremely proud to support the National Teaching Awards and celebrate the achievements of all our very worthy winners. Thank you for your continued work and congratulations.”
