Leicester Tigers sign center Will Wand from Championship side Coventry

Leicester Tigers signed Will Wand from Championship side Coventry at the start of the summer.

The 22-year-old, who the Tigers hailed as a “lifelong fan”, with previous links to the Premiership club’s development teams, played 42 times for Coventry in his two seasons with the second rank club.

Wand was voted Coventry’s Player of the Year and was selected in the Championship Team of the Season for the 2023–24 campaign after scoring 14 tries in 22 appearances.
