Sheffield Wednesday sign Tunisian international ahead of new season – The Home of Irish Football

Sheffield Wednesday have announced the signing of Tunisia international Yan Valery from French side Angers SCO for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old reunites with Owls manager Danny Rohl at Hillsborough after working together at Southampton, where Valery came through the academy.

Valery made 43 Premier League appearances for Southampton and seven in the Championship for Birmingham while on a short loan spell.

He joined Angers SCO in September 2022, where he was relegated from Ligue 1, but helped his team to immediate promotion from Ligue 2 the following season.
