Ealing Learning Partnership wins prestigious award

Ealing Learning Partnership, which brings together the council and 85 schools in the borough, has been recognized with a silver award for partnership impact in the Pearson National Teaching Awards.

Selected from thousands of nominees, the council says the win “highlights the outstanding impact the partnership has on shaping the lives of the young people in their care”.

This collaboration unites school and borough council staff in their mission to promote educational excellence, tackle inequalities and deliver better outcomes for all children and young people in pursuit of its vision: No Learner Left Behind: No School Left In follow. More than 40 school leaders contribute their time to shape and deliver activities on behalf of all young learners in the district, area-wide priorities and school needs.

The Pearson Silver Award recognizes Ealing Learning Partnership as one of the leaders of educational excellence in the UK.

Julie Lewis, Director of Learning Standards and School Partnerships at Ealing Council, said: “The conviction of our schools and the dedication of individual leaders who contribute directly to the aims of the Ealing Learning Partnership and who believe in our mission has paid off. this award. This supportive network of brilliant educators doesn’t just care about the performance of their own school or the results of the students they teach; they care about all Ealing’s children and young people. I am delighted to have achieved this recognition.”

Ealing Learning Partnership is one of 102 deserving teachers, lecturers, leaders, support staff and institutions named as silver winners in this year’s awards. They will now be in the running for the coveted Gold Award, which will be announced at a prestigious awards ceremony later in the year.
