Live: Call 999 if you see a Bristol thug stab a sleeping man in the face

A Bristol thug who stabbed a sleeping man in the face is wanted by police on recall to prison. According to Avon and Somerset Police, Lee Coles, 42, is suspected of breaching his license conditions.

He is described as white, around 5ft 8in tall, of large build, with blue eyes and short mousey hair. He has several tattoos on his left arm.

In March last year, Bristol Crown Court heard how Coles used a blade on his victim, who he had an undisclosed grievance against. He was sentenced to 30 months in prison after pleading guilty to unlawful wounding.

Coles has links to the Southmead, Brentry and Henbury areas. Police are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to get in touch.

Avon and Somerset Police say: “If you see him, please rather than approach him call 999, quoting reference 5224145465, or call 101 with any other information.”
