Pub next to a farm in town with a beer garden, fireplace and home-cooked food

When you think of pubs in the city, you might think of the hustle and bustle of Gloucester Road, Bedminster or the city centre. But there’s one town pub that, although it adjoins a town farm, still has an equal mix of country charm and cosmopolitan vibes.

Located next to St Werburghs City Farm, The Farm pub is a haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city and yet a proper community venue with its own buzz about the place. Serving a selection of drinks and a menu full of home cooked food, this ‘great local Bristol pub’ bills itself as quite traditional.

With its quirky exterior painted to reflect the nearby farm, it certainly stands out among the houses in the area – although St Werburghs is known the world over as an attractive and quirky place in its own right. Inside the pub you’ll find a warm log fire to relax in, while outside there’s a seating area in the pub’s garden.
