Waterfront in pictures as crowds gather for night two

Crowds partied as the sun set over Liverpool as live music filled the air on the second night of On The Waterfront Festival.

After a successful debut in 2022, On The Waterfront has become a highly anticipated event in Liverpool’s music calendar. Yesterday, around 12,000 people gathered at the Pier Head for an opening act by local comedian Paul Smith, who performed an outdoor comedy show. He was followed by Jojo Sutherland, Mick Ferry and Jamie Hutchinson.

The crowds are back again tonight, June 21, for musical performances from Ocean Color Scene, Embrace, The View and Liverpool’s own indie rock band Cast, best known for their nineties hits including All Change , Mother Nature Calls and Magic Hour.
