Live as Sheffield Road closed with police at the scene

A road in Sheffield has been closed following an incident with police in the city.

Worrall Road, in Chapeltown, is currently closed in both directions with police at the scene. According to Inrix, the road is closed between Hawthorn Road and Greengate Lane.

Traffic is said to be doing well on the road. It is not yet known what the police presence is.

Inrix said: “Worrall Road in both directions has been closed due to the police incident from Hawthorn Road to Greengate Lane. The traffic is doing well.”
